I learned [week 20]

Ok, I'm breaking the rules today. I've got two. Which I haven't done since I was a rookie, right? But first, I saw a moderately cute shot without Eva's face in it, going along with the lesson at Click It Up a Notch this week. I hate to be a curmudgeon, but sometime's this cute girl's angel face can just ruin a picture! There's always something--boogers, fruit, crumbs, dirt, blurriness, weird expression. She just moves too fast. So here's a nice relaxing shot (she's watching the TV that's hidden by the corner of the couch). (We've had a pretty rough week around here--I'm 10 pounds lighter and Eva watched a lot of TV, and I'll spare you the details.)

And, finally, the moment you've been waiting for...a self-portrait! I chopped off my hair sort of recently and thought my friends deserved a look. Oh yeah, and you can ogle my new keyboard too (thanks husband and Mom & Dad!).

So what did I learn this week? To not overdo it. Something I've been constantly learning since I got off the good drugs last summer. To save my energy for my precious baby. And to have a backup plan for chapel music in case I'm indisposed come Sunday morning...but that's a story for another day.

Love the picture of your daughter. I like how she's messing with her toes. Makes the picture more interesting. :)
