This is a story about a cat. A cat thought of & made manifest by the joint operations task force of Navy wife Beth Olmo and Army wife Erin Blunt (a cool, talented friend of mine). A cat that trots through luscious sunsets into peaceful, moonlit night, dancing with fireflies and cavorting past crickets as darkness falls on a farm. This is a beautiful book dripping in color and contrast, and one that you will enjoy reading to your child as much as your child will enjoy hearing and seeing it. The sentences are short and poetic, so you can start it at any age. It rhymes without being "rhymy", and is a perfect winding down for bedtime story.
